"What is your topic?"
My talk shows small business people and other
professionals how to leverage the extremely effective
yet highly underutilized strategy of public speaking
and seminars as a lead generation and lead conversion
tool to promote, market and sell their products
and services.
"Do you charge a speaking fee?"
No. I take a nonrefundable deposit which is
credited against my product sales at your event.
The deposit is also to ink the date on my calendar.
You will not only not pay me a speaking fee, but
because we'll be splitting product sales, in reality
I'll be paying you when I speak at your event.
"Are you going to just sell, or will
you deliver real value to my group?"
My typical talk is 80 minutes of solid content
followed by a 10 minute very soft-sell of my Public
Speaking Training Complete Home Study Course.
"What if I won't be allowing any selling
at my event?"
First of all, you should be allowing product sales
because you tremendously increase your revenues,
plus you do your group a huge favor by allowing
them to acquire high-quality continuing educational
materials that will benefit them greatly. But
if you're still not going to allow sales at your
event, we can work out a nominal speaking fee.
"Who pays for your travel and accommodations?"
You, the event promoter. I have a simple one-page
agreement that covers all these important details
- you'll quickly discover that I'm extremely easy
to work with. I'm not a "prima donna type".
I understand the speaking business.
"How can I book you for my upcoming event?"
Simple: just give me a call at 310-697-3527 or
send
me an email and I'll check my calendar and
forward my simple one-page speaking agreement
for you to review. After that just send me the
deposit to ink the date on my calendar (remember:
the deposit will be credited against sales at
your event).
